Lesní klub

V našem lesním klubu bylo jaro především o mláďatech

Zvířata nás v lesním klubu provází celoročně, ale na jaře je to obzvlášť výrazné. Rodí se mláďata, a bohužel jich spousta také skončí v naší záchranné stanici. Pro děti je to jedinečná příležitost seznámit se s mláďaty divokých zvířat zblízka. Povídat si o zvířeti, které máme zrovna živé před sebou, nic nenahradí. A mláďata jsou navíc prostě nejroztomilejší.

Letos jsme s dětmi zažili i vlastní malou záchranářskou epizodu. V klubu jsme přijali dvě pěnkavy, jednu se zraněnou nohou a nemocnýma očima (jde o nemoc trichomoniázu, takže jsme zase o něco chytřejší), druhou vypadlou z hnízda a podchlazenou. Obě sledujeme při uzdravování a držíme jim palce. Pokud to zvládnou, vypustíme je s dětmi zpátky do přírody, a protože jsme byli u celého příběhu od začátku, bude to o to dojemnější chvíle.

Na zahradě klubu denně pozorujeme, jak rychle rostou naše jehňata a jak si hrají a poskakují po trávníku. V budce na školce nám zase vyvedli mladé vrabci, jejichž cvrlikání nás doprovázelo celý den.

A jako z pohádky se s námi kamarádí i uzdravená a vypuštěná srnka. Ráda se přidává, když zahradničíme (i když nám pak okusuje sazenice), pozoruje děti při hře z bezpečné vzdálenosti a před pár dny dokonce nakoukla i do školky. Blíž přírodě už opravdu být nemůžeme.

Lesní klub

V minulém týdnu jsme si s dětmi užili parádní masopust - přípravy, průvod i hostinu. Víc než půlku kamarádů uvěznil bacil v posteli, ale užili jsme si to i tak. V Poděbradech jsme navštívili a zazpívali v knihovně, Jiřce, DDM a ještě spoustě náhodným kolemjdoucím, projeli se vlakem do Libice nad Cidlinou a prošli se přes hradiště novou ovocnou alejí zpět do školky. Odpoledne jsme společně s rodiči vyzkoušeli koblihy smažené v kotlíku a byly prostě boží. Oslavy nám jdou, už se těšíme na další!

V našem lesním klubu bylo jaro především o mláďatech

Zvířata nás v lesním klubu provází celoročně, ale na jaře je to obzvlášť výrazné. Rodí se mláďata, a bohužel jich spousta také skončí v naší záchranné stanici. Pro děti je to jedinečná příležitost seznámit se s mláďaty divokých zvířat zblízka. Povídat si o zvířeti, které máme zrovna živé před sebou, nic nenahradí. A mláďata jsou navíc prostě nejroztomilejší.

Slavíme masopust

V minulém týdnu jsme si s dětmi užili parádní masopust - přípravy, průvod i hostinu. Víc než půlku kamarádů uvěznil bacil v posteli, ale užili jsme si to i tak. V Poděbradech jsme navštívili a zazpívali v knihovně, Jiřce, DDM a ještě spoustě náhodným kolemjdoucím, projeli se vlakem do Libice nad Cidlinou a prošli se přes hradiště novou ovocnou alejí zpět do školky. Odpoledne jsme společně s rodiči vyzkoušeli koblihy smažené v kotlíku a byly prostě boží. Oslavy nám jdou, už se těšíme na další!

About us

First, formally. We are part of Huslík – the Basic Organization of the Czech Union for Nature Conservation Polabí – just like the Rescue Station, the Eco-center, and the Land Trust.

We are a member of the Association of Forest Kindergartens, we are striving for its certification, and as soon as we meet the legislative requirements, we will join the Ministry of Education's registry and transform into a forest kindergarten.

Informally – we are colleagues from Huslík who feel it makes sense to dedicate more time to preschool children than our existing eco-center programs allow, so we decided to pursue the path of a forest club and eventually a forest kindergarten. We share the same values, raise our own children in a similar spirit, love working with kids, and Huslík, with its community and environment, is very close to our hearts.

A 50 m² wooden building located on a ridge in a natural garden, adjacent to a meadow, orchard, forest, ponds (including one for swimming), animal enclosures, and an emerging organic farm—a total of over 10 hectares of natural grounds. If needed (due to bad weather or for indoor activities), we use the spacious facilities of the eco-center in the brick building.

At our club base, we keep guinea pigs and rabbits. Nearby are enclosures for chickens and farm animals, a permanent exhibit of wild animals from the rescue station, and ponds with ducks, swans, turtles, and many other creatures. Rescue station staff provide children with the experience of releasing rehabilitated animals and offer demonstrations with educational commentary. Animals, learning about them, and caring for them are an important part of our program.

preschool preparation

The club is also attended by children in their final year of preschool, which is mandatory, under an individual education plan. Preschoolers must be enrolled in a local or other kindergarten, where they then go for assessments. Preschool preparation takes place twice a week during the quiet rest period after lunch. We follow the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education.

Huslíčci – a club for the little ones with their guardians

We offer regular meetings for toddlers aged 1–4 with a parent or grandparent in the safe and stimulating environment of our forest club. Every other Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we meet for play, creative activities, singing, and playful exploration of nature.

The foundation of our education is the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education, followed by our School Educational Program.

We align with the Step by Step approach and draw inspiration from other educational philosophies, such as Montessori, Virtues Project, the Respect and Be Respected concept, and other child-centered principles that focus on developing competencies and mutual cooperation.

Tuition is paid monthly for 10 months of the year (September–June).

The forest club is not state-funded and relies entirely on parent contributions. These funds are used primarily to cover the salaries of our guide team, with the remainder going toward operating costs, equipment, and materials.
