Zoological survey for assessing buildings in terms of the occurrence of specially protected synanthropic animal species

The survey is conducted in accordance with the binding "Methodology for assessing buildings in terms of the occurrence of generally and specially protected synanthropic animal species" issued by the Ministry of the Environment

What the survey includes:

  1. Detailed visual inspection of the building using binoculars and mapping of potential openings and crevices used as animal shelters
  2. Survey of animal presence signs (droppings, carcasses, remains of feathers or fur, nests)
  3. Monitoring of potential animal activity, focusing primarily on evening or morning activity in the case of bats
  4. Survey using a bat detector and endoscopic camera
  5. Preparation of a report including any recommendations for construction work

Zoological site survey

Basic zoological survey including a site description and a list of species present

What the survey includes:

  1. Data collection through visual observation, using binoculars or other equipment, and systematic methods
  2. Mapping of animal species occurrence with an emphasis on specially protected species
  3. Preparation of a report including a list of local fauna and a final assessment

Botanical site survey

Basic botanical survey including a site description and a list of species present

What the survey includes:

  1. Data collection through visual observation and systematic methods
  2. Mapping of plant species with an emphasis on specially protected ones
  3. Preparation of an expert report, including an inventory of flora at the site and a final assessment

Zoological supervision

Basic biological supervision aims to monitor compliance with binding opinions and conditions on the construction site regarding the presence of protected animals

What the survey includes:

  1. Presence of an expert on the construction site during work or availability for urgent telephone consultation
  2. Ongoing monitoring of the presence of specially protected animal species
  3. Preparation of the final supervision report

Animal rescue transfer

Practical rescue transfer in cases where specially protected animals are directly threatened by construction work. In such cases, it is always necessary to first obtain an exemption from regulations under Section 56 of Act No. 114/1992 Coll.

What the survey includes:

  1. On-site animal capture
  2. Animal relocation and identification of suitable sites
  3. Preparation of the final transfer report
